- How much does storage cost in Southend?
- We don’t publish a rate card. Tell us the size you need and a valid email plus phone number — we’ll send your price. There is no deposit and no extra fees. You pay for the month at the store on a rolling contract.
- Do I need to pay a deposit?
- No. Brennan Storage does not take a deposit. Rolling contract, no hidden fees. Pay for your month when you move in.
- Can I access my unit at night or on weekends?
- Yes. Units have 24/7 access with RFID key entry. The office is staffed 8:00am to 8:00pm every day if you need a person.
- Where are you in Southend?
- Greyhound Way, SS2 5DD — at the end of the road on the Greyhound Industrial Estate, behind Lidl and Travis Perkins, opposite the Royal Mail sorting centre. Five minutes’ walk from Southend Victoria station, about ten minutes from the town centre.
- What size unit do I need?
- Small (20 sq ft) for boxes and tools. Medium (26 sq ft) for a studio or spare room. Large (40 sq ft) for a 1-bed flat. X-Large (70 sq ft) for a house move or business stock. Use the size check on this site if you’re unsure — it recommends a unit from what you’re storing.
- Is it secure?
- Purpose-built centre with RFID key entry, 24/7 surveillance, and individual unit access. You get in with your fob; the public does not.
- Can I store business stock or tools?
- Yes. Tradespeople and small firms use us for tools, archive, and stock. 24/7 access means you can pick up kit before a job. Ask for the X-Large if you need pallet-friendly space.
- How long do I have to stay?
- You don’t. Rolling monthly — stay a few weeks or a few years. No lock-in.
- Do you have parking and van hire nearby?
- Yes, you can load at the unit. Nearby van hire includes Myles Hire and B&Q Hertz 24/7 at Fossetts Way.
- What are the office hours?
- The office is open 8:00am to 8:00pm. Your unit is accessible 24 hours with RFID. Call 01702 411882.
- Can I change unit size later?
- Usually, yes — if we have space. Tell us and we’ll move you up or down.
- Is packing material available?
- Bring your own boxes, or ask the office what we have in. Stack heavier items at the bottom, leave an aisle, and don’t store perishables, fuel, or anything illegal.
